<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a fixed average interval between transmissions of packets even if the period of requests for transmission of packets changes. <P>SOLUTION: This method performs a calculation step calculating the number of latest transmission packets and a latest residual time on the basis of the time to receive a latest transmission request, the time to receive a previous transmission request, a reference period of transmission, and a previous residual time; and a transmission step transmitting the transmission packets of the number calculated in the calculation step. The calculation step and the transmission step are carried out every time a transmission request is received. The calculation step comprises a step (3) of obtaining the latest period by subtracting a time to receive a previous transmission request from a time to receive a latest transmission request; steps (4) and (5) of obtaining a post-correction period by adding the previous residual time to the latest period; and steps (4) and (5) of integer-dividing the post-correction period by the transmission reference period, and obtaining the quotient of the division as the latest number of transmission packets and obtaining the remainder of the division as a latest residual time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
