PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication unit, in which address registration information of the data communication unit is not changed before a user concerning to an electronic mail whose address is unknown knows when the electronic mail whose address is unknown is transmitted from the data communication unit, and in which the user concerning to the electronic mail whose address is unknown can manage the address registration information of the data communication unit, and to provide a data communication method, a data communication program, and a computer readable recording medium in which data communication program is recorded. SOLUTION: When the data communication unit transmits an electronic mail whose address is unknown, it is noticed to the user concerning to the electronic mail whose address is unknown that the electronic mail whose address is unknown is transmitted (S208, S210), and furthermore the address registration information of the electronic mail is changed responding to the response from the user concerning to the electronic mail whose address is unknown.
