<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid glue container the cap of which can be easily detached. <P>SOLUTION: The container 1 comprises a container body 2 and the cap 21. The cap includes a cap body 22, a ring portion 30 located below it, and a connection portion 31 connecting the cap body and ring portion. The connection portion is formed so as to be integrated with the cap body and ring portion. The connection portion has notches or grooves 32, 33 and 34 formed in the connecting positions and in the lengthwise middle so as to have thin-walled portions to form hinge portions 35, 36, and 37. When the cap 21 is put in a predetermined position on the container body 2, the ring portion 30 comes into contact with the shoulder 5 of the container body and cannot move further from the shoulder 5 such that the connection portion radially bends outward.
