PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle capable of properly and certainly deploying/inflating an airbag between a steering wheel and an occupant. SOLUTION: The steering wheel of the steering device for the vehicle is formed such that a rim part turned making a pad part as a center forms the non-ring-like form that a part of the ring-like form is lacked. Further, when the airbag is deployed/inflated, a control device of the steering device for the vehicle firstly releases the interlocking relationship of the steering wheel and a turning actuator and drives a reaction force actuator such that a steering angle of the steering wheel becomes "0 (zero)". Namely, the steering wheel is turned such that the lacked part of the rim part is positioned above the pad part. Thereafter, when the steering angle of the steering wheel becomes "0 (zero)", the control device stops driving of the reaction force actuator.
