PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of rapidly heating a heated object, easy to clean a cooking chamber, and capable of preventing heat loss. SOLUTION: The heating cooker is provided with the box shaped cooking chamber 10 for housing a cooked object, and a hot air generation device 18 having a heater type heat source 12 and a blower 15. Hot air generated by the hot air generation device is jetted at a high speed from a nozzle orifice 37 provided on a ceiling plate 33 of the cooking chamber and is collided with the cooked object 38, and the hot air after collision is returned to the hot air generation device by sucking by the blower from suction ports 42, 43 provided on left and right side wall lower parts of the cooking chamber, and is circulated.
