<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission capable of preventing an outer clutch plate and an inner clutch plate from rattling even when torque is not transmitted from a first torque transmission member to a second torque transmission member. <P>SOLUTION: Even when a torque is not transmitted, a weak current is supplied to a coil 72 and a main clutch 50 is loosely engaged. Accordingly, a weak frictional force occurs between a main outer clutch plate 51 and a main inner clutch plate 52, and a spline at the outer peripheral part of the main outer clutch plate 51 abuts on the spline 23 of an outer case 20 and a spline at the inner peripheral part of the main inner clutch plate 52 abuts on the spline 31 of an inner shaft 30. The main outer clutch plate 51, the outer case 20, the main inner clutch plate 52, and the inner shaft 30 are fixed at a position where the splines are engaged with each other on the same axis by the self-aligning force of the involute splines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
