PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current monitoring device which dispenses with an operating power source and a transmission path for transmitting a measured current value. SOLUTION: The current monitoring device is equipped with a current detection part which intervenes in two transmission paths for converting a physical quantity measured with a measuring instrument into a signal current to output it, and detects the current value output to the transmission paths; and a power source voltage generation part which intervenes in the transmission paths and outputs a voltage generated by passage of the signal current.
