A light guiding plate of a backlight unit is provided to improve the brightness and uniformity of light even without attaching an additive prism sheet on the light guiding plate, by respectively forming fine structures on upper and lower surfaces of the light guiding plate. A light guiding plate(10) is formed of a light transmission type material in a flat type. A lenticular part(11) consisting of a plurality of grooves(11a) is formed on a lower surface of the light guiding plate. The lenticular part diffuses the light incident from a lateral surface thereof, and then collects the diffused light in a predetermined direction. A condensing part(12) is composed of a plurality of cubic protrusions(12a) protruded from an upper surface of the light guiding plate to form a polygon-typed cubic configuration. The condensing part condenses the light diffused by the lenticular part. |
