HYDROPHOBIC STRAIGHT CHAIN MOLECULE POLYROTAXANE AND CROSSLINKED POLYROTAXANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophobic straight chain molecule polyrotaxane soluble in an organic solvent and a crosslinked polyrotaxane using it. SOLUTION: The hydrophobic straight chain molecule polyrotaxane has a ring molecule, a straight chain molecule including the ring molecule in a manner skewered by the straight chain molecule and stopping groups located at both the ends of the straight chain molecule to prevent the ring molecule from coming off. The straight chain molecule is hydrophobic. The straight chain molecule is a polycaprolactone having a molecular weight of 5,000-100,000. The ring molecule is anα-cyclodextrin, aβ-cyclodextrin or aγ-cyclodextrin. The crosslinked polyrotaxane is composed of the hydrophobic straight chain molecule polyrotaxane and a polymer bonded via the ring molecule. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
