<p>A power-saving control method of an office instrument is provided to prevent unnecessary power consumption when the office instrument having a display panel is operated. A control unit sets a current mode as an operation standby mode(S10,S20). The control unit detects whether an error exists in an office instrument(S30). When the error exists in the office instrument, the control unit turns on a display panel, and displays the error(S80). When the error does not exist in the office instrument, the control unit maintains the display panel as an off-state(S40,S50,S60).</p> |
