PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope which relieves pain to be given to a patient when a distal and body passes through a throat, or the like, and which is excellent is insertability. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 11 is arranged in the front side half part 3a of the distal end body 3 connected to the end of a flexible insertion tube 2 and an optical observation window 12 is disposed in a rear side half part 3b in the ultrasonic endoscope. The distal end body 3 is bendable between the front side half part 3a with the arrangement of the ultrasonic probe 11 and the rear side half part 3b with the arrangement of the optical observation window 12. The front half part 3a is optionally bent concerning the rear half part 3b by a remote control from the side of a proximal end in the insertion tube 2. |
