An analog/digital converting method comprising a measuring step of measuring, in advance, the frequency characteristics of analog/digital converters; a sampling step of sampling an analog signal; a Fourier transforming step of Fourier transforming the data obtained by the samplings performed by the analog/digital converters to produce a plurality of frequency range signals; a correcting step of multiplying the frequency range signals by correction coefficients based on the frequency characteristics of all the analog/digital converters, thereby converting the frequency range signals to frequency range signals that would be obtained when the corresponding analog/digital converters exhibit ideal frequency characteristics; and a combining step of combining the frequency range signals as obtained by the correcting step to produce the frequency spectrum of a digital signal. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
