<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air supply system capable of saving energy by making a compressor efficiently operate while securing compressed air as required for a load. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a flow meter 6 for calculating the mass flow Q-in of compressed air to be supplied from a compressor through a pipe system to the pneumatic equipment, a pressure meter 5 for calculating a pressure P of the compressed air to be supplied through the piping system to the load and a pressure change detecting means for calculating changeΔP of the pressure of the compressed air to be calculated by the pressure meter. Then, controlled variables Q-out from the following formula; Q-out=Q-in-ΔP/C (C=RT/V) according to the mass flow Q-in of the compressed air and the pressure changeΔP of the compressed air used for the pneumatic equipment, and the operation of the compressor is controlled according to the controlled variables Q-out.</p> |
