A prism sheet and a backlight unit comprising the same are provided to improve the viewing angle of an LCD panel, by forming concave portions on a lateral surface of each prism configuration for the prism sheet. A prism sheet comprises a prism support part(418) and a plurality of prism configurations(420) positioned on the prism support part. At least one concave portion(422) having a triangle shape is formed on a lateral surface of the prism configuration. In the prism sheet, a vertical angle of the concave portion formed on one lateral surface is the same as a vertical angle of the concave portion formed on the other lateral surface. |
