DRIVING APPARATUS TO PRESS-MOLD INCLUDING TWO JOINTLY COUPLED ONE TO OTHER MOLD HALVES

FIELD: designs of press-molds for pressure die casting machines and for inflation molding machines. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus is used for driving press-mold having two mold halves jointly coupled one to other through pivot. Said mold halves are moved from open position to closed position by means of movable slides performing reciprocation motion in forward and backward directions. Each mold half is jointly coupled also with rotary member mounted on axle. Each mold half is driven to motion at least by means of one control tie rod whose one end is jointly coupled with rotary member and whose other end is jointly coupled with movable slides. Invention may be in the form of group of press-molds and each press mold has two mold-halves jointly coupled according to invention. ^ EFFECT: improved design of driving apparatus providing easy closing and holding mold halves in closed position without any additional units. ^ 9 cl, 5 dwg
