A conditional SMS(Short Message Service) method and a system thereof are provided to send an SMS suited to location information without exposing receiver's location information to a sender, thereby preventing the receiver's personal information from being leaked. A transmission request receiving module(102) receives transmission request information from a user's sender terminal. A location information collecting module(103) demands the current location information of a receiver's telephone(s) to a location information server, and receives the demanded results. A regional classification module(104) classifies the receiver's telephone numbers by region by referring to the location information. An SMS transmission module(105) instructs an SMS to be transmitted, as sending SMS context for each region and the receiver's telephone number corresponding to the SMS context of each region to an SMS center. If the SMS center completes transmission of the SMS and sends transmitted results, a transmission result providing module(106) receives the transmitted SMS and results to add up the received SMS and results according to each region, and provides the added SMS and results to the sender terminal. A controller(101) calls the collecting module(103) once the transmission request information is received, calls the transmission module(105) once regional classification of the receiver is completed, and takes charge of a series of processing functions for a conditional SMS.
