PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical branching module having a small size and high-speed transmission capability in 1:N connection, and also to provide a signal processor. SOLUTION: On a substrate 10, there are arranged, with prescribed intervals, a VCSEL array 13 which is a light emitting element and PD arrays 14A-14D which include a plurality of photodiodes (PD). From the VCSEL array 13 over to the PD arrays 14A-14D, light transmission bodies 15A-15D are disposed having light guides with a plurality of lengths. The light from the VCSEL array 13 is made incident to each PD of the PD arrays 14A-14D through the light guides of the light transmission bodies 15A-15D, and is phtoelectrically converted.
