A method for manufacturing a colored steel sheet with a single side embossed is provided to reduce the manufacturing process and produce an inexpensive colored steel sheet with a single side embossed having improved corrosion resistance and strength by properly embossing the plated steel sheet after plating a steel sheet. A method for manufacturing a colored steel sheet with a single side embossed comprises: forming a pre-treatment layer only on a plated steel sheet with a single side embossed; and coating a top coat and a primer coat on the pre-treatment layer using a polyester paint with high workability, wherein the plated steel sheet with the single side embossed is produced by embossing a plated steel sheet of which a single side has a plating adhesion amount of 20 to 100 g/m^2 using an upper embossing roll or a lower embossing roll on which predetermined patterns which are embossed in depth range of 30 to 80 mum are formed such that an inclined plane of the patterns is inclined in an angle range of 20 to 60 degrees to a horizontal line of a flat part of the patterns.
