PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mantle heater which is capable of stably receiving vessels with various types of size and which does not disconnect a heating element. SOLUTION: In the mantle heater 1 provided with a housing block 4 installed so that the recess 2 to receive the vessel of which the bottom is approximately spherical is opened to the upper part and the heating element 6 installed along the recess 2 at the housing block 4, the inner face of the recess 2 is formed in an inverted cone face 3 to support the bottom of the vessel 100 to be received to form the heating element 6 along the inverted cone face 3.
