PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional lid of a teacup wherein the lid can not be used for other purposes than as a lid. SOLUTION: The lid 2 of the teacup 1 has a bottom 3 and a knob 4. When the lid is inverted and the teacup is placed on the inverted lid, the lid can be used as a saucer.
