<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass gasification plant installable in a densely-populated area. <P>SOLUTION: This continuous drying type biomass gasification plant is provided with a charge device 1 crushing, mixing and charging biomass into an anaerobic fermentation tank 6; the anaerobic fermentationtank 6 comprising a horizontal, cylindrical rotary barrel rotatably supported and mechanically air-tightly sealed from the atmosphere and having an agitating means; an aerobic fermentation tank 13 of the same structure as the anaerobic fermentation tank 6 in basic parts and having an air permeation means; an intermediate transfer device 10 serially connecting the anaerobic/aerobic fermentation tanks and transferring anaerobic fermentation residue to the aerobic fermentation tank; and a discharge device 16 discharging aerobic fermentation tank residue. Raw biomass is decomposed in the anaerobic fermentation tank to form methane gas, which is supplied to the outside and plant, and the anaerobic fermentation residue is composted in the aerobic fermentation tank to be supplied to the outside. In order not to form partial lump keeping anaerobic fermentation in the aerobic fermentation tank, the intermediate transfer device 10 continuously transfers the anaerobic fermentation residue to the aerobic fermentation tank at a constant rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
