PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the durability of an intermediate transfer belt for a long period of time while suppressing the occurrence of meandering of the intermediate transfer belt. SOLUTION: A printer 2 includes a driving roller 22, a tension roller 24, and an intermediate transfer belt 25. A meandering regulation means is disposed between the intermediate transfer belt 25 and the tension roller 24. A diameter of the driving roller 22 is made smaller than that of the tension roller 24. A length Ld of winding around the driving roller 22 of the intermediate transfer belt 25, a frictional coefficientμd of a surface of the driving roller 22, a length Lt of winding around the tension roller 24 of the intermediate transfer belt 25, and a frictional coefficientμt of a surface of the tension roller 24 are prescribed so as to satisfy Ld×μd×0.90>Lt×μt>LD×μd×0.14.
