RADIO ACCESS STATION FOR USE IN PORTABLE INTERNET SYSTEM

An RAS(Radio Access Station) of a portable Internet system is provided to be capable of accessing on a front side, so that maintenance is easily conducted when a board is added or removed, therefore the extension of installations is easily performed up to 3FA/3Sector while state management and diagnosis of the RAS can be available in a remote place by using an RF(Radio Frequency) monitoring module. An RAS(122) comprises the followings. A DBPS(Digital Baseband Processing Subsystem)(210) performs a channel modulation/demodulation function and an interface with an ACR(Access Control Router). An RFPS(RF Processing Subsystem)(220) executes a signal amplification function and a function of up-converting or down-converting a baseband signal into an RF signal. A CFPS(Common Function Processing Subsystem)(230) carries out a power distribution function and state management/diagnosis functions of the RAS(122).
