<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell easily adjusting load applied to a reaction surface of an electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is formed of a unit cell 10 composed of a membrane electrode assembly 11, an anode side separator 12, and a cathode side separator 13; a given number of the unit cells laminated; and a specified load loaded in the direction of the lamination. An anode reaction surface 11b is provided with a reaction surface 11d with a gas dispersing layer, a cathode reaction surface 11c is provided with a reaction surface 11e with a gas dispersing layer, and a load adjusting means is provided for applying the load on one reaction surface which is different from the load applied to the other reaction surface to at least one of the anode or the cathode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
