MULTI-DOMAIN TYPE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND PERSONAL COMPUTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-domain vertical alignment type liquid crystal display device with a wide viewing angle display produced by dropping a liquid crystal. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a reverse staggered thin film transistor provided on a first substrate, a second substrate opposing to the first substrate, and a sealing material to adhere the first substrate and the second substrate and to hold a liquid crystal dropped into between the first substrate and the second substrate; wherein the liquid crystal held between the first substrate and the second substrate is divided into a first region and a second region by a first electrode electrically connected to the thin film transistor, and the tilt of the liquid crystal in the first region is symmetric to the tilt of the liquid crystal in the second region.
