PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress visibility of a striped irregularity due to an error of a deposited position. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises a liquid jet head for ejecting a first liquid including a colorant from each of a plurality of nozzles by moving in a first direction relative to a recording medium, and an abnormal nozzle determination means for determining an abnormal nozzle of which the error of the position of the first liquid deposited on the recording medium in the second direction perpendicular to the first direction is not lower than a prescribed amount in the plurality of nozzles. The image forming apparatus further comprises a correction means that corrects dot data such that a second dot on the recording medium formed of the first liquid ejected by the abnormal nozzle later is to be brought into contact with at least a part of a first dot on the recording medium formed of the first liquid ejected by the abnormal nozzle in advance.
