PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid-operated valve operable with a more desirable valve lift profile suitable for the wide rotational speed of an engine by increasing a thrust force without increasing a size and increasing a stroke. SOLUTION: In this solenoid-operated valve U, a shaft 12 having a valve element 11 is linearly driven by a solenoid-operated mechanism. The movable element 1 of the solenoid-operated mechanism is interposed between permanent magnets 13, 13 having opposed faces of the same pole.
