To change the setting of the flow regulator, a control screw (1) is moved relative to a screw base (2), which has threads on its outer side. A stop is preferably provided between the control screw or a gauge glass (3), and the screw base, for limiting the setting. A surface structure may be provided to enable operation by hand or actuator.
