A vehicle seat recliner assembly includes a base, a first drive member, a support bracket and a carrier link. A first drive member is supported on the base for pivotal displacement between a seating position and an ingress/egress position. A support bracket is located in a common plane with the base. A carrier link includes a first end pivotally attached to the first drive member and a second end pivotally attached to the support bracket. The assembly selectively moves between the seating position to the ingress/egress position.
