<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method by which satisfactory recording quality can be obtained even if an optical recording medium whose manufacturer, a production version and the like are unknown and which has an organic dye in a recording layer in an optical recorder, and to provide a program for performing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The recorder is mainly constituted so that in the recording method of the optical recording medium, recording is performed to the recording medium by changing its optical properties. The recording method has a first comparison step for comparing recording medium information on the recording medium to be recorded with recording medium information in the recorder and a second comparison step comparing information for the recording method on the recording medium with the recording medium information in the recorder when the same information is not found in the first comparison step and is characterized in that information near to the information for the recording method is selected from the recording medium information in the recorder based on the information for the recording method when the same information is not found in the second comparison step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
