PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner having a hand grip pipe, which is excellently molded and suppresses the deterioration of suction force. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner comprises: a body 2 incorporating an electric blower 22; a hose 3 connected to the body 2 at one end; the hand grip pipe 21 arranged at the other end of the hose 3; a suction pipe 4 connected to the hand grip pipe 21; and a suction tool 5 for a floor connected to the suction pipe 4. The hand grip pipe 21 includes: a straight tubular ventilation pipe; and a grip part to be branched rearward in the upper part of the ventilation pipe. The suction pipe 4 is connected to the front part of the ventilation pipe and a hose connection part for connecting the hose 3 is arranged at the rear end of the ventilation pipe.
