<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a common rail type fuel injection system provided with countermeasures for remodeling the connection of a fuel pressure sensor with an electronic control unit to be performed to increase output of an engine, thereby protecting a common rail. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel pressure sensor 16 for detecting pressure of fuel in the common rail is connected with an ECU 20 through a harness 30. The ECU 20 is provided with a microcomputer 21 and a power supply circuit 22. The ECU 20 supplies electric power of power supply voltage Vc generated in the power supply circuit 22 to the fuel pressure sensor 16 and inputs output voltage Vout of the fuel pressure sensor 16. Here, a signal wire for outputting inside driving voltage Vin of the fuel pressure sensor for the ECU 20 from the fuel pressure sensor 16 is provided to input the inside driving voltage Vin into the microcomputer 21 through an A/D converter 23. The microcomputer 21 determines whether the inside driving voltage Vin is reduced by a predetermined value or more when compared with the power supply voltage Vc or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
