<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens 14 capable of obtaining an intended light emission property and improving light emission efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An incident angle of the light incident from a light emitting diode 13 on neighboring area of the incident face 23 in the light axis direction is restrained from becoming small, by forming an incident face 23 in light axis direction against the light incident direction x of a light emitting diode 13 into planar shape. Incident amount of the light on the lens 14 is made large by reducing reflection loss of the light of the light emitting diode 13 on the incident face 23 in the light axis direction x. A light control part 27 having a shape of convex curve shape toward outer surface side of an incident face 25 is formed at center part of the incident face 25 facing the incident face 23 in the light axis direction.
