<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restart only a process in which failure has occurred. <P>SOLUTION: The process management system for restarting a process in which failure has occurred of a plurality of processes in a system constituted by cooperated processing by the processes in each of a plurality of line groups comprises a used resource storage means storing a preset resource used by each of the line groups; a process monitoring means monitoring the operation state of each started process; a process stopping processing means stopping, upon detection of failure in a process by the process monitoring means, the operation of the process with the failure, determining the resource used by the line group the process belongs to from the used resource storage means, and releasing the determined resource of the line group; and a process starting means restarting the stopped process according to an instruction from the process stopping processing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
