PDP FILTER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to optimize an adhering force of an adhesive layer by adjusting a thickness of the adhesive layer. A plasma display panel includes a filter base(175) having at least one optical function, an adhesive layer(155) formed on one surface of the filter base, and an electromagnetic wave shielding film pattern(115) adhered on the filter base. The adhesive layer has a thickness of 0.2 to 1.2 times as large as a thickness of the electromagnetic wave shielding pattern. The filter base has a transparent substrate(150), a color compensation film(160) formed on the transparent substrate, a near-infrared shielding film(165), and an anti-reflection film(170).
