A system for supplying a provider indication service in a mobile communication terminal and a method therefor are provided to enable a relay system to generate a mobile communication provider ID by searching a voice call request signal if the request signal is sent to a terminal, and to include the ID in the request signal to send the signal to the terminal, so that a provider indication is displayed on a screen of the terminal. A voice call request signal for a voice call between a transmitting mobile communication terminal and a receiving mobile communication terminal is received from the transmitting terminal(S200). It is confirmed whether the receiving terminal uses a CID(Caller Identification) service(S202,S204). If so, it is confirmed whether the receiving terminal uses a provider indication service(S206). If so, the provider indication is displayed on a screen of the receiving terminal(S210). |
