PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device suitable for manufacturing a polymer film and a method for manufacturing the polymer film manufactured by using the device capable of suppressing a problem or the like that a film is destroyed in a long hole shape in a width direction at a hole bitten with a pin when drying and heat treatment are performed using a tenter type conveying device when the polymer film, particularly a polyimide film is manufactured. SOLUTION: In the polymer film manufacturing device, gripping of the end of the film at both side ends in a width direction of the film is constituted by a large number of pin sheets and a large number of pins arranged on the individual pin sheets and is performed by piercing the pins on both side ends of the film. A base or the like, i.e., a portion where the film is not contacted with a position where the pins are planted is provided on an outer side in a width direction of the pin sheet contacted with the pierced film of the polymer film manufacturing device having a tenter type treatment part for conveying the film in the state that the film is tensionedly laid in the width direction and/or the conveying direction.
