PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption associated with the display of an EL device etc., using hue reversal effects. SOLUTION: A mobile communications terminal is characterized by performing a process (S10-S20) for monitoring whether the qualification of a power-saving mode is ready, a process (S30) for measuring the color scheme of an image displayed on a screen when the qualifications is ready and a power-saving mode is performed, and a process in which a reversed hue of this picture is performed (S50) as the result of this measurement when a predetermined hue is contained in the image by more than the predetermined ratio (S40).
