An image forming apparatus is provided to prevent a main board from being damaged due to static electricity by restraining a user from touching a main controller board when inserting a memory card into the image forming apparatus. An image forming apparatus includes a memory card connector(140) which connects a memory card(150) with a connector of a main controller board of the main body(100) of the apparatus. The memory card connector includes a cover(141), an insertion part, and a guide(142). The insertion part is located at one side of the cover and at least one memory card is inserted into the insertion part. The guide guides the cover when the cover is set or separated in or from the main body so that the cover is easily set or detached in or from the main body. The main body has a groove(110) in which at least one connector(131,132) to which the memory card is connected is placed. The insertion part includes a plurality of protrusions for fixing the memory card.
