PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device provided with a boring device enhancing the accuracy in a hole position while maintaining high productivity without upsizing the device and further having a lateral registration correction means for advantageously acting on a post-processing device in a downstream. SOLUTION: In the sheet processing device, lateral registration correction is performed by a first lateral registration correction means provided with lateral registration correction for moving the sheet in a direction perpendicular to a conveying direction and adjust a boring position and performing lateral registration correction based on the lateral registration detection result at a leading end of the sheet; and a second lateral registration correction means for performing it based on the lateral registration detection result at a rear end of the sheet. Thereby, deviation of lateral registration by oblique advancement is prevented, a lateral registration correction time before boring is shortened and high accuracy and high productivity are accomplished.
