PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a two-wheeler equipped with an enhanced cornering performance on a wet road surface, compared with the conventional technique. SOLUTION: When a region equivalent to 60% of the spreading width of the tread 28 is made a tread central part and the outside in the tire width direction of the tread central part is made a tread side part, a plurality of inclined grooves 50 are formed in the tread side part, and a thin and long land part 56 is partitioned in which the length is three times or more as large as the width and the ratio t/h of the height h to the width t ranges between 0.6-2.0. This enables establishing compatibly the water draining performance of the tread portion grounding at the time of cornering and the stiffness of the blocks, and it is possible to generate a high gripping force at the time of cornering on the wet road surface, compared with the conventional technique.
