PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic semiconductor material which can be manufactured in a simple process, has excellent characteristics as a transistor and has the suppressed secular deterioration, and an organic semiconductor film employing the same, an organic semiconductor device and an organic thin-film transistor. SOLUTION: The organic semiconductor material contains a compound having a formyl group. With the spread of an information terminal, the needs for a flat panel display as a display for a computer have been increasing. The organic semiconductor material further can correspond to the increasing needs for electronic paper or digital paper as a mobile display medium which is thin and lightweight and is conveniently carried, because chances that information conventionally provided through paper media is electronically available are increasing along with the development of informatization.
