PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor capable of forming a good electrophotographic image over a long period by solving problems, such as the occurrence of voids or an image blur or degradation in image density liable to arise in image forming method using an intermediate transfer member, an image forming method, an image forming apparatus, and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: The organic photoreceptor contains a compound expressed by General Formula (1) in the surface layer.
