<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve an unlucky state in a mechanical pencil of such a poor regidity at a connecting part between a rear tube and a front tube as the development of the bent connecting part by a writing load and, in its turn, being in danger of its breakage. <P>SOLUTION: In the mechanical pencil, in which an inner pipe is arranged within an outer shaft composed by connecting a front shaft and a rear shaft so as to provide a chucking body for gripping and releasing a lead and a chucking ring for opening and closing the chucking body therewithin, an engaging part for controlling the forward motion of the chucking ring is formed on the outer shaft and, at the same time, a longitudinally elastically deforming flexible part is formed in the inner pipe so as to pinch the inner pipe between the front shaft and the rear shaft and, at the same time, the fore end of the inner pipe is abutted against the stepped part of the outer shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
