PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse in which an occupying volume is made smaller and in which down-sizing of an electrical connection box or the like to be attached can be realized. SOLUTION: To a flat plate shaped fusing member 11 provided with a fusing part 15, a fuse 10 is constituted by connecting a similarly flat plate shaped common electrode 12 and a plurality of individual electrodes 13. Since the whole fuse 10 is formed in a flat plate shape, the volume which the fuse 110 occupies can be made smaller and a site to be attached can be made down-sized. Moreover, the fusing part 15 is composed of a plurality of parts 17A to 17D capable of being cut which are capable of being cut selectively. By cutting properly the parts 17A to 17D capable of being cut according to circuit specifications, fuse characteristics can be set at the a desired value. By this, since versatility of the fuse 10 is improved, a manufacturing cost can be suppressed lower and furthermore, parts management can be made easier. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
