PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element which exhibits superior emission luminance, reduced voltage increase and fewer dark spots found during the constant current driving operation, and high stability over time under high temperature and high humidity conditions, as well as an indicating device and a lighting device using the organic EL element. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element has an electrode and at least two organic layers on a substrate, wherein at least two of the organic layers have a film density of 1.10 to 1.25 g/cm3.
