PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of a printed board, which enables determination of not only the number of found defects but also whether or not the printed board is defective with consideration of even expansion/contraction rate of the board, in defect inspection of the printed board. SOLUTION: The expansion/contraction rate of the printed board to be inspected is measured, the expansion/contraction rate data obtained by measurement is stored in a storage section in association with the printed board to be inspected, and, based on the deviation value of the expansion/contraction rate of the printed board to be inspected in the same lot, the printed board to be inspected is automatically classified into non-defective, object to be verified, or defective.
