PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged beverage comprising green tea powder consisting mainly of green tea powder and having stable quality as a packaged beverage and rich flavor and taste inherent in green tea powder, wherein precipitation/aggregation or the like of insoluble solid is prevented and to provide a method for producing the packaged beverage comprising green tea powder. SOLUTION: The method for producing packaged beverage comprising green tea powder comprises dispersing green tea powder having an average granular diameter of 7-20μm in water, and subjecting the solution to homogenizing treatment at a homogenization temperature of 20-90°C under the homogenization pressure of≥5 MPa so as to make the beverage have rich flavor and taste inherent in the green tea powder and suppress the insoluble solid from causing precipitation/aggregation to produce the stable packaged beverage comprising green tea powder. The packaged beverage comprising green tea powder has flavor and taste inherent in green tea powder and also insoluble nutrients and the like falling in the green tea powder as they are, wherein the dispersion can be maintained and also deterioration in flavor and taste can be suppressed.
