A liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof are provided to enhance picture quality by improving horizontal crosstalk of a liquid crystal display panel which is operated by a line inversion method. A liquid crystal display device includes a panel(400), a gate driver(300), and a storage signal generation unit. The gate driver outputs gate line driving signals to the panel. The storage signal generation unit outputs storage line signals in response to the gate line driving signals. The storage signal generation unit simultaneously inverts the polarities of a (2n-1)th storage line signal and a 2n storage line signal in response to a (2n)th gate line driving signal, where n is a natural number equal to or greater than 1.
