<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL panel, capable of reducing a scribe margin when the EL panel is manufactured by forming a plurality of light emission parts on a single glass substrate, and thereafter dividing it into the individual EL panels by a scribing-and-breaking method, and capable of increasing the number of chamferings of the EL panels obtained that have the light emission parts having the same area. <P>SOLUTION: This organic EL panel 11 is provided, on the glass substrate 12, with an organic EL element 16 having an organic EL layer 14 between a first electrode 13 and a second electrode 15, and is also provided with a protective film 17 made of an inorganic material and dividable by a scribing and breaking method so as to cover the organic EL element 16.
